My interest in photography began in my late teens, sparked by my father's cameras and the photo books scattered around our home. At university, the study of semiotics, a truly passionate photography teacher and access to the darkroom deepened it. During those years I published pictures in local magazines, often accompanied by short essays and stories.

Since then, visual storytelling has quietly accompanied me through a career as an international cultural project manager and communications professional, in France, Italy, Romania, the Czech Republic, Spain and now Sweden. My photos have appeared in local art, photo and design magazines and fanzines, and bands and artists have used them to promote their music.

I am drawn to black and white because it forces me to look through shapes, light, shadow and texture, and to find the essence of what's in front of me.

Because of my background in communications, I know what a portrait needs to do, whether it's for a release, a website or a press kit.
